A cleaning visit is a job: somebody comes, cleans, and leaves. Janitorial service is a routine: the building has a task list split by frequency, the same tasks happen on the same days, and the slow jobs (baseboards, vents, high dusting, carpet) come round on a calendar so they never pile up.
