What a custodian's standard means in a house
School custodians clean buildings that hundreds of people walk through every day, on a schedule that does not move, and they get judged on the parts most people never look at: the baseboards, the door push plates, the corners of a washroom floor. Klein's founder did that job for the Halton District School Board before starting this company, and brought the routine along.
In practice that means three things. Every visit follows the same order, top to bottom and dry to wet, so nothing is cleaned twice and nothing is missed. The plan, which we call a plan of care, is agreed with you before the first visit and kept to. And the unglamorous surfaces get the same attention as the kitchen counter.

- High surfaces first: fans, frames, ledges, tops of cabinets
- Kitchen and bathrooms, counters to fixtures to floors
- Touch points: switches, handles, rails, door edges
- Floors last, vacuumed then washed, room by room toward the door
- A final look around before we leave
